Day 2: Challenging Stigma: Self-representation and content creation

Through workshops led by local and international speakers, the objectives are to exchange knowledge on (1) the nature of stigma and models of destigmatisation, (2) the efficacy of various forms of content creation (digital storytelling, blogging, social media, citizen journalism, video production) for the empowerment of disabled people, (3) emancipation through self-representation from a marginalised position, and (4) the use of technology from an impaired position.
